  2. OMEGA-3s - They will keep blood pressure normal, lower triglycerides, reduce the risk blood of clots, protect against inflammation and enhance mood. Studies say take to 1,000 mg a day, but if you are at risk of heart disease or a mood disorder, you may need more.

  3. VITAMIN D - Vitamin D has been demonstrated the effectiveness of preventing a number of chronic diseases and conditions, including cancer, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, and autoimmune disorders. The recommended dose is around 400 IUs, but for adults its ok to take a 1000 IUs a day.

  4. CHROMIUM - Chromium helps balance blood sugar levels, and may protect against diabetes. Chromium also protects the heart by decreasing LDL, increasing HDL, and lowering blood pressure. Most people need 35 mcg a day of chromium picolinate.
