For bulking up you want to eat 8-10 times a day, yes that much.

Foods I would eat to bulk up would be:

  • 2 meals of 2 cups of oatmeal with 2 servings of protein powder
  • 2 meals of steak with yams or red potatoes
  • 2 meals of fish or chicken breasts with beans
  • 2 meals of 2 protein detour protein bars
  • 2 meals of chicken breasts with yams or red pototoes

So yes you want to eat carbs before going to bed to add size. Eating carbs before going to bed adds and stores as extra fat, great if you are trying to get bigger.

Also no need to do any cardio or very little cardio.

Take creatine monohydrate with a lot of water because creatine reatains water so it might not work very well for people who are really thin,but great for guys who are round and thick.
