Aromatherapy provides balance to your wellness regime, whether it is a natural boost to flagging energy or a soothing relief of anxiety. But aromatics can also offer appetite suppressing properties for those times when stress sends us to the cabinet in search of comfort food. Begin your morning with energizing essential oils that will set an uplifting tone for the day while battling that too busy habit of grabbing whatever for breakfast. Start by inhaling the crisp, sweet citrus scent of essential oil of grapefruit. This essential oil contains a natural compound, noot katone, which scientists cite for controlling metabolism.

For morning appetite suppressant, place oils in an aromatic diffuser or a mix in a roller ball with one ounce of carrier oil, such as sweet apricot, for the one spot treatment. So 16 drops of grapefruit essential oil, 10 drops of lemon essential oil and 4 drops of peppermint essential oil. For a late night snack blend your essential oils with 1-2 ounces hydrating Jojoba oil, known to mimic the skins sebum layer. Massage for 5-10 minutes on solar plexus, chest, and stomach in a circular motion, breathing deeply. So 9 drops of bergamot essential oil, 4-6 drops neroli essential oil and 9 drops of lavender essential oil.
